OkayDay is a daily check-in for a family. This page says what we store and who in the household can see it.

What we store

We store the email you use to sign in, the household name and time zone, check-in times, an optional note, and phone numbers you add for text messages. If you allow notifications in the phone app or the browser, we store that device's notification token, its platform and app version so we can send reminders and alerts; it is removed when you sign out there, and pruned when the device stops accepting notifications. If an alert email or text fails, we store that the send failed. Card numbers stay with Stripe. If you buy the plan in the App Store or Google Play, the store handles the payment and we store only the store's subscription id, the plan and its renewal date. If a household is deleted before its subscription is canceled, we keep the Stripe customer and subscription ids until that cancel succeeds, then remove them. We do not sell this information.

Who can see it

People in your household see the check-in status their role allows. The admin manages the household, invites, and billing. A check-in is for the family you set up. It is not shared as a public profile.

Deleting your account

Delete your account in the phone app (Account) or on the web at /account. We remove your sign-in, your place in each household, your devices' notification tokens and your check-in notes. A household whose only admin deletes their account is deleted with its history. Other households keep their history, without your notes.

Text messages

If an elder texts OK, we use that phone number and message to record the check-in and can text a short confirmation. Missed-check-in texts go only to numbers the admin saved. A failed text is shown to the admin. It does not erase the check-in.
